Creed wanted the mutant cure… I gave him the cure for a sonogram picture.. I figure it would buy me sometime… He promised it was to be used against Logan but if it is that is okay… If he isn't a mutant then the SHI won't be interested. I am sure that is the only interest she has, that and ruining my life… I haven't been able to get a hold of Logan… I copied the sonogram and sent it to his cell phone… With a message: Thought you would like to see your unborn son, yes it is a boy. Shame he wont have a father… Creed came to see me again… "Damn it creed! I could loose my job and be thrown in jail. What is it you want!" I screamed.. "The cure needs something to work… " Creed snarled "It what?" I was surprised "Don't worry doll. Only a few know this. I came to make you a deal… " He lit up a cigar I shook my head, "Oh no I gave.." "I didn’t get the full cure… SO technically you haven't made good but I was going to overlook that… See you're not thinking babe… You can only fool dumb and hairy for so long… You want him to marry you then you better start smelling pregnant and I can help…" I looked at Creed with disgust… He grinned, "Don't flatter yourself! You're not my type… Weapon X has something left over… They have a whole fridge full of frozen little Logan wannabes. I can get one… For the rest of what I need and I can even find a Dr to implant it in you… think it over call me tonight here." He left and I looked at the number… He was right.. but how far did I want to go with this charade… Nick was in the nuthouse, Natasha in a coma and Tony was the new director… I thought on this... What it would mean for me... Perhaps this is just what I need to get him back and get rid of her….

The unpleasantness of the last few days has been hell... Things didn't go as I expected at the Fade's Party. I woke this morning and had my breakfast... I was rushing out the door, not wanting to be late... I opened the door and ran face to face with... "Logan, This is a surprise. What do you want?" I stated a bit annoyed as I fiddled with my keys to lock the door. "You said we should talk and you are right," he paused, "Can I drive you to work?" I sighed, "You're not on that motorcycle are you?" "No I am in my pickup." He smiled... I looked at my watch, I was running late and Fury wanted us all in earlier for some huge staff meeting. I walked out of the elevator with Logan... "I am sorry that you are... Damn it Carol, it was never my attention to hurt you. I continue to tell you it is over between us, but you just wont listen." "LOOK!" I yelled "If you came to give me more of this we are not together and wont be lecture save it.. I am running late for work.." I turned away from his truck and walked toward my car... Logan grabbed my arm..."Carol I haven't came to give you a lecture... Come on I will drive you." I got in his truck and we headed off. Things were quiet for a short time... "Carol, I know you do not believe me about the poison.. " he stated... "Oh come on Logan I know ..." I yelled. "Carol, its true. I am on my way to speak to old one eye now about the fake Spiderman and I have spoken to the real one already." Logan growled, "I am sorry about what happened... I am sorry to Ana and ....." "Fine you are sorry okay can you just pull over and let me out, I think I will walk to work...." I was getting sick of this... "I am not pulling over and letting you walk in this weather especially in your condition. Carol, I didn't come to argue... Damn it I just wanted to tell you the baby will want for nothing." "Except a father." I spat... "Damn it what do you want?" He yelled "You know what I want... " I cried... "It isn't going to happen, we are over and have been for a long time. Why can't you move on?" he growled, "What do you want for me to buy a house where you, the baby, Laura and I can live? Even if I did that we would have separate rooms and wouldn't be together." "Fine, you know don't worry about us. Let me out!" I yelled... "Look Doll you wanted to talk..." Logan yelled back... I used my strength to kick the truck door off its hinges and flew out of his truck and headed to work.... When I came in Colonel Fury said after our meeting he wanted to speak with me about my pregnancy... Great... Now I got to somehow get pregnant but how can I do that with Logan deciding for us not to be together... Colonel Dane walked in so I guess Nick will lecture me later. I walked into my office... "hello Miss Danvers..." "Creed?" great.....

I arrived at the Party… I was mingling when Nick walked over… "You feeling okay Carol…" "I am fine…" I sighed… I then saw Logan dancing with Ana… I waited for him to walk away and went to speak with him… "Logan you can't keep avoiding me." I whispered, "Logan I have something to tell you ...." " Look darlin'" He answered in a husky growl. " What happened to between us was a mistake. I was drugged by this damned fake Spider-man . I didn't know what I was doin.' " " I'm pregnant" I shoved the papers at him, didn't know what he was doing? I guess he think I am stupid… I know of his healing factor… He just stared down at them. "I just thought you should know. However I guess it doesn't matter to you." "Wait, it could be Scott's or Steve's…." He was stiffing me, I knew he was sniffing for the baby… "Well I am not that far along for it to be theirs… Thanks you I know who the father of my baby is. Logan you the last person I expected to be like this… At least you could come up with a lie better than 'I was drugged'." I was very upset and Logan instead of talking just shoved the paper I handed him in his pant pockets and walked off… I couldn't believe that didn't work… What power does this Japanese woman have? I needed a drink… Screw rehab… What would one drink hurt… I walked over to the other bar, then Scott approached and took me up into his arms, "Hey Beautiful." "Scott… Now is not a good time." I sighed… He spun me around to the dance floor and pulled me close, "Something wrong?" I shook my head and laid it against his chest, there was something different about Scott. "I saw you talking to Logan, is it him?" Scott whispered as he caressed my hair… "Want me to put him in his place?" "No Scott… Well I guess you should know. While you been away , he and I…. Well it seemed as he wanted me back… Now he doesn’t but I am … pregnant. He doesn't seem to care." I shook my head, "Doesn't matter." "Bastard! Don't worry… I will look after you…. And the ….. baby. Don't get upset it will be alright." Scott held me tighter, he definitely was not the same…. "Carol… Let me take you home, I just need to say good bye to someone." I nodded and walked away stopping to say good bye to Peter Parker and asked that he tell Fade I had a wonderful time… I saw Scott talking to Nick, my guess is he is telling him he will be returning to the Agency soon. After we got to the apartment I discovered that Scott definitely was different… Amazingly so… I awoke several hours later and over heard him on the phone…. "UNACCEPTABLE Logan! I don't care.. you can not treat her like that. I never figured you for a coward or someone that ran away from his responsibilities! But you always have had commitment issues having you…" Scott pulled the phone from his ear and then replies, "yeah well," then he mimicked Logan, "anytime bub!" Slamming the phone down he repeated, "Bastard." "Scott you shouldn't.." I stated and he rose placing his hand over my mouth… "shhhh… " Great… Logan is probably going to kill Scott now…

Party for two

I arrived at the Mansion …. "Hi Vampi, where is your old man at?" "getting ready for the Party…" She said I found Wolfgang fiddling with his tie. He was wearing the formal dress for a Drakulonian Count. "Ready old Man?" "Sure, you're not wearing a dress?" he asked "Nope… I like to be comfy.." I purred… When we arrived I began to move around and scope the place for older women…. I couldn't believe there was NONE… "Hey guys! Kon-el is in the building!" Superboy came boasting I then saw Fade… he walked over and sat in a dark corner … he looked sad… I saw Papa Wolfgang walk over… "Hello my young man. I am Count Wolfgang Dracula. Vampi's father. I wanted to thank you for inviting me." Sometimes Wolfgang reminds me of Napoleon.. He actually knew Napoleon….. but don't ask him to tell you or you will have to sit through hours of stories… "Glad you could come.." Fade replied "What is with the frown my lad.." He said… I found it interesting that Fade confided in Wolfgang about his problem, "My girlfriend is mad at me and I may have lost my best friend.." "My boy, You are young… things will work out… Be thankful your not as old as I am… and alone.. Give that girl a flower and tell her how you feel… Go on now my boy find your lass.." Wolfgang stated.. and then sat in a dark corner alone… I was just about to grab him and start introducing him to ladies when I over heard a conversation between Carol and Logan…. I was shocked… I looked at Ana who was getting a glass of wine…. Then I saw Maggie and Henchman enter….. I looked at Xavier who was shaking Vegeta's hand…… Oh the night is going to get good…. Stormed then walked over, "hey pretty lady.. Care to Dance?" "In front of an audience?" I purred "Look I missed you.." She said dragging me to the dance floor… Poor Wolfgang…. Where are all the old ladies when you need them…

I get home and find an invite… Hmmm this should be fun….
